Leadership Mountain View Director Steps Down

Alicia Crank has accepted a new position in Seattle.

Announcement from Chamber of Commerce Mountain View:

The Chamber of Commerce Mountain View announces that Alicia Crank, Program Director for Leadership Mountain View (LMV), a program she has made renowned over the last 6 years, has accepted a new position out of state. LMV is a nine-month program that recruits community members and working professionals to develop and further enhance their interpersonal leadership skills through interactions with the local business leaders, community leaders and thought leaders of Mountain View.

LMV has served Mountain View for the last 26 years as a branch of the Chamber of Commerce. There are over 570 LMV Alumni in our community.

Alicia’s guidance and direction took the Leadership program to a new level of awareness and fiscal sustainability through her community relationships and her passion to provide others with new leadership skills and resources. She developed a program called ReVisited, which provides further education to LMV Alumni and a yearly uncheon to highlight the programs success and leaders.

Alicia has spent over a decade in Mountain View where she served on numerous boards including the Mountain View Rotary and KMVT 15, among others. She also served on the Human Relations Commission of the government of the City of Mountain View and ran for City Council. In
addition, she serves as a mentor for Mountain View-Los Altos Community Scholars.

“Over the last six years, despite the economic downturn, Alicia guided, grew and renewed Leadership Mountain View’s status as the premier leadership program,” said Oscar Garcia, the President & CEO of Chamber of Commerce Mountain View.

“Alicia’s talent, expertise and extraordinary energy will be missed in this community. She could always be seen around town making connections and sharing her wealth of knowledge. Alicia’s desire to lead others, passion for life will continue on in her new position. We wish her the best in
her new endeavors,” said Shelley Wolfe, the Co-Chair of the Leadership Mountain View Council.
