Legislator's 'Java With Jerry' Event Set For Mountain View

The Democrat who represents the Peninsula and parts of Silicon Valley plans to provide free coffee.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- California state Sen. Jerry Hill of the 13th District will hold a "Java with Jerry" event this month in Mountain View, during which the Democrat who represents the Peninsula and parts of Silicon Valley plans to provide an update on bills that are before the state Senate.

The "Java With Jerry" gathering will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16 at the Clocktower Coffee Roasting Company, 205 E. Middlefield Road, according to a news release. No appointments or RSVPs are required, his communications staff said.

The senator will provide free coffee at no taxpayer expense and he encourages constituents to bring their questions and concerns about state legislative issues, according to the news release.
