Waldorf School of the Peninsula Opens Summer Camp Registration for 2015!
Waldorf School of the Peninsula is pleased to announce that we will again be hosting summer camps on our Los Altos campus for children who are ages 4 years, 6 months through entering sixth grade.
Early Childhood Summer Camp
These camps model the gentle rhythm of our kindergarten program which so lovingly nourishes the child’s developing coordination, cooperation and creativity. Each day will be an imaginative journey with free play, circle games, songs and stories, thematic activities, and plenty of time for relaxed summer sand and water play.
For children entering kindergarten or first grade in fall of 2015, and at least 4 years and 6 months by the first day of the session.
Elementary Grades Summer Camp
These camps model the daily rhythm of Waldorf elementary education with a sustained morning period of focused activity, followed by an “out breath” of relaxed free play and fun in the summer sun. We conclude our day with one or more shorter periods of activity and project work related to the session’s theme. Talented and passionate specialists bring a colorful menu of music, visual and performing arts, outdoor and movement experiences to share with our older children.
