The winner, with the most votes on Mountain View Patch is Buster Kasperzak. Buster now has bragging rights as the best-looking pet in the city according to our readers. Here’s how his owner, , describes him:
Buster Kasperzak - aka Busta Move, is a sweetheart of a dog. Yes, he too was a rescue dog from the foreclosure crisis. Buster joined the family 3 years ago, so we believe he is a happy, healthy 11yrs. old. Quite the character, he is the mellowest Jack Russell you have ever seen. Even his adoptive grandparents, Joan and Wally MacDonald think so!

Runner-up is an orange bobbed-tail cat by the name of Chance. Yes, that’s an unusual name for a pet (or anyone), but there’s a good reason for the name as described by his owner, :
This is Chance. He's an adult bobbed-tail cat we adopted from a shelter 5 years ago. We named him Chance because of his question mark shaped tail (Chance card in Monopoly is orange and has question mark on it) and because we gave him a second chance. He's so funny, so loving and he's the joy of our lives! Someone's discard is definitely our treasure!
So, there you have it! Thanks to everyone who shared photos of their pets with us. We truly enjoyed seeing them. While there could only be one top winner in our feature, every pet photo submitted by readers deserves two tail wags of appreciation.
