Shoreline Lake Celebrates Orange Cinco de Mayo
Shoreline's National Candied Orange Peel Day festivities, in conjunction with the South Bay's most relaxing way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

With the patio open, celebrating Cinco de Mayo at Shoreline Lake in Mountain View is a great way to get away from it all, while enjoying a tasty repast, and a cold one, by the water...
The Orange part? Shoreline's American Bistro (known for its house-made, real French and classic American pastries) starts the festivities on Wednesday, May 4th -- National Candied Orange Peel Day -- by highlighting a florentine bar with toasted nuts, honey and candied fruits (including orange peel) atop pâte sucrée smothered in a layer of chocolate.
And, this celebration of orange peels extends into Cinco de Mayo as well, for anyone wanting to commemorate the Battle of Puebla away from civilization and by taking in a beautiful view. Shoreline visitors can expect to see CdM offerings, such as: mole poblano, agua fresca, jalapeño poppers, flan, sake margaritas and a selection of Mexican beers, as well as other Mexican dishes joining the lineup.
