Shoreline Lake Plans Father's Day Fun
A BBQ on Sunday, plus intro lesson with picnic on Saturday and Sunday.

From Maria Gonzalez:
Want to do something different for Dad this year for Father’s Day?
Shoreline Lake in Mountain View will be taking part in the global celebration of 2015’s Summer Sailstice Celebration on Saturday, June 20, as part of its weekend-long Father’s Day festivities.
Besides free skippered sailboat rides for kids, and free racing demos for Newbies/Non-Sailors, Dads can also get a free 30-minute intro lesson to sailing with the purchase of a Picnic Basket+Sailing package. The Sailboat rides and demos will take place starting from 10am through 6pm (both Saturday and Sunday).
On Sunday from 11am-3pm, since the Park does not allow for individual barbecuing, Shoreline will hold its annual Father’s Day Barbecue.

In addition, the popular pre-prepared picnic baskets (along with customizable picnic+watercraft packages) are available, as well as special additions to the weekend brunch menu.
And, to whet the appetite further, All-Day Access passes will be available for kayak, canoe, pedalboat, and rowboat rentals at the BBQ station.
Advanced registration (required) for the rides + demos, scheduling info, as well as the Picnic Basket+Sailing package, can be arranged through Shoreline’s Aquatic Center, and the other links also have more info on Shoreline’s participation in the annual Summer Sailstice celebration:
