The Little Mermaid, to me, has always been a big celebration of life,” said DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. director Cindy Powell. “You’ve got that fabulous party ‘Under the Sea’ where you enjoy everything around you, just by looking at where you are right now. But then in comes that spark of hope in ‘Part of Your World’ where we are inspired to ask questions like ‘Who do I want to be?’ and ‘How am I going to get there?’ Combining that joy and that hope together is what makes this story so special at all different stages of life.”

DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. opens on Friday, February 20 with the Seahorse cast and Saturday, February 21 with the Seamonkey cast.
