Homeless Man ID'd as Burglary Suspect After Officer Recognizes Him
A homeless man was arrested in Mountain View after a police officer recognized him as a commercial burglary suspect caught on camera.

SOUTH BAY, CA -- A homeless man was arrested in Mountain View recently after a police officer recognized him as a commercial burglary suspect caught on surveillance video the week before, police said.
On Thursday, Feb. 23, Frank Braby, 29, was found sleeping in an apartment complex's clubhouse bathroom in the 100 block of Calderon Avenue around 7:30 a.m.
One of the officers who responded to the call recognized Braby and his outfit from the video, police said.

The suspect in the video, who was wearing "distinctive clothing," stole laptops and other items from a business in the 400 block of Clyde Avenue.
Police allegedly found one of the stolen laptops in Braby's possession and later returned it to the business.

Braby was cited on suspicion of trespassing for sleeping in the clubhouse bathroom and arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property.
Braby is being held without bail.
