Highlights from the Stevenson PACT 20th celebration on May 11, 2017, featuring homegrown entertainment and the past and present alumni.
Stevenson PACT Elementary School in Mountain View, CA celebrated their 20th anniversary on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Past and present Alumni enjoyed the fine entertainment including Bollywood dancing, performances from children in the community and a jazz band.
Started initially as the PACT Program, Stevenson PACT Elementary School is founded on the idea of the parent, child, teacher partnership. On the one hand, dedicated teachers and administrators create and execute an alternative, integrated, developmental curriculum. On the other hand, parents support teachers and contribute their interests and talents through classroom and community volunteering.
Parents’ participation in their children's education is key to their success. Stevenson PACT parents
help to enrich the curriculum and support the school's philosophy, applying the principles learned in
Parent Ed both inside and outside of the classroom. (source: http://stevenson.mvwsd.org/)
