Three Students Arrested For Allegedly Making Threats Against Local High School
The threats were made on social media over the weekend, according to Mountain View Police.

MOUNTAIN VIEW — Three Mountain View High School students were arrested Monday for allegedly making threats on social media over the weekend.
Officers learned about the alleged threats Sunday night. The threats had been posted on a social media site that referenced potential harm to students and staff at Mountain View High School, according to police.
"All three student(s) were detained, interviewed and subsequently arrested for PC 422, making threats, and PC 182, conspiracy to commit a crime," according to police. "Because all three are juveniles, we will not be releasing their identities. Out of an abundance of caution, we increased our presence at MVHS today."

Police are cautioning students that online threats are taken seriously and are not a joking matter.
