Uber Driver Busted After Allegedly Backing Into Police Vehicle Over Parking Ticket Flap
BREAKING: The 62-year-old driver dropped off a fare and was parked in a Mountain View red zone when the confrontation ensued, cops said.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – An Uber driver was arrested Thursday evening after allegedly scrapping with a Mountain View parking enforcement officer attempting to write up a parking violation, according to law enforcement.
Driver Ghulam Mohammadi, 62, reportedly dropped off a customer in downtown Mountain View at about 6:30 p.m. and then parked along a marked red zone at the northeast corner of Bryant and California streets, according to the Mountain View Police Department.
A police assistant, conducting area parking enforcement, parked behind Mohammadi and began to issue a parking ticket when a confrontation ensued as Mohammadi purportedly backed into and pushed the police assistant’s parking attendant vehicle backwards, police said.

A spokeswoman for Uber said Mohammadi's alleged behavior would violate Uber's community guidelines. His access to the Uber platform has been suspended and he will not be able to provide rides for the ridesharing app's customers while the incident is being investigated.
