LASD's Alyssa Gallagher at St. Tim's Preschool Jan. 13.
St. Timothy’s Preschool will present Alyssa Gallagher, Director of Strategic Initiatives and Community Partnerships for the Los Altos School District, at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13. She will talk with parents about “Using New Methods of Teaching to Inspire Curiosity and Creativity” in our children.
Former principal and assistant superintendent in the Los Altos School District, Alyssa is a passionate educator who believes in the power of learning, rethinking and investigating new ideas. In her 17 years as an educator, Alyssa has served students as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent. Alyssa was among the first to develop blended learning environments with Khan Academy and has led the effort to bring numerous innovative ideas to LASD. In her current role, Alyssa is focused on creating initiatives and building relationships that will help create a new learning network for students.
