Volunteers Needed For 'Random Acts of Flowers Silicon Valley'

The organization is dedicated to 'recycling' bouquets for those in healthcare facilities. Join the team!

Join Random Acts of Flowers Silicon Valley (RAFSV) at our Volunteer Open House and Orientation.

The RAFSV staff will provide an introduction to the organization’s history and explain how volunteers help us fulfill our mission of recycling flowers and delivering smiles.

Call 650-852-1450 or email volunteer@rafsiliconvalley.org to RSVP for either Monday, April 13th, 2015 - 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. or Thursday, April 16th, 2015 - 10:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M.

Orientation attendees will learn Floral Arranging 101 with an experienced floral designers, Jeffrey Adair from J Floral Art and Sandi Nelson.

“We are thrilled to have the support of the local floral community as we prepare to open April 30,” explained Linda Plount, RAFSV Executive Director.

“Volunteers are the backbone of our organization and mission. We are excited to announce volunteer sign-ups are open.” Jessica Coulombe, Director of Mission Fulfillment stated.

Volunteers are needed on an ongoing basis to pick-up and deconstruct donated flowers as well as create and deliver to individuals in healthcare facilities. Join our team of dedicated, passionate and talented volunteers to help spread joy and offer comfort to others in our community, meet new people, and have fun!
