Woodland School appoints three new members to the Board of Trustees
Woodland School is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to the Woodland School Board of Trustees. “I am pleased to welcome our new trustees,” says Board Chair Tim Brady. “These individuals bring a record of significant accomplishment in the areas of product management, product marketing, corporate counsel and commercial litigation. Their leadership and expertise will be tremendous assets as Woodland sets the course for future development. Woodland School’s Board of Trustees is responsible for the long-term well-being of the school, and board members serve as guardians of its mission.”
Masumi Reynders of Cupertino is also a Woodland School parent. She is a long-time Google employee, currently serving as Director of Product Management. She and her husband also own Pampas Restaurant in downtown Palo Alto. Ms. Reynders has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington and a Master of Laws from Kyoto University.
Karuna Mukherjea of Mountain View is also a Woodland School parent. She is Senior Director, Product Marketing for Cloud Analytics Solutions, SAP. Prior to her current role, she served as Director, Solutions Marketing at SAP and worked in Product Strategy at Oracle. Ms. Mukherjea has a master’s degree in Finance from Osmania University and a bachelor’s in Commerce and Accounting from St. Francis College. She is author of several publications, including: Performance Management on the Go: The Next Frontier in Managing Enterprise Performance, Managing Transfer Pricing to Satisfy Legal Requirements and EPM Analytics at Your Fingertips.

Isabelle Young of San Carlos is also a Woodland School parent. She is Senior Litigation Counsel at Google. Prior to joining Google, Ms. Young worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in Palo Alto and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York. She specializes in general commercial litigation. Ms. Young has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and French from the University of California at Berkeley and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Harvard.
Woodland School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent day school in Portola Valley, serving over 268 students in early childhood through eighth grade, and their families.
