During an investigation into the violence, detectives identified the shooting suspects as Murrieta residents Davon Blackstone, 19, and Ashley Barber, 20. Three juvenile males from Murrieta and Temecula were also identified though their names were not released due to age.

Blackstone was arrested May 24 on suspicion of attempted murder, robbery, discharging a firearm, and conspiracy. Barber was arrested the same day on suspicion of attempted murder and being an accessory to a crime, according to Murrieta police.

On May 25, detectives tracked down one of the juveniles and arrested him on suspicion of attempted murder, robbery, discharging a firearm, and conspiracy, police said.

Detectives later served two search warrants in the 28000 block of Via Princesa and the 28000 block of Calle Del Lago and located a firearm believed to have been used during the shooting.

Detectives continued their investigation and learned that one of the juveniles fled the state. After obtaining an arrest warrant, the boy was found Monday in Pennsylvania by the U.S. Marshals Service. He was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder, robbery, discharging a firearm, and conspiracy. He is being extradited to Riverside County, police said.
