4 Spring Events Planned For Murrieta
From bike races to family fun and a Memorial Day ceremony, Murrieta will host four community events throughout the spring.
MURRIETA, CA — Murrieta just announced its Spring lineup of community events, ranging from a bicycle race and family-friendly activities to a longtime barbecue tradition and a Memorial Day ceremony.
"Mark your calendars! The City of Murrieta’s 2026 Special Event lineup is here!" the city said in a post on social media Thursday.
The season begins March 28–29 with the Tour de Murrieta Bicycle Race and Festival, set for Town Square Park and the adjacent amphitheater. The two-day event features competitive cycling races along with festival activities for spectators.

On April 4, the city will host its Spring Eggstravaganza at Town Square Park and the amphitheater. The annual celebration typically includes egg hunts, games and activities geared toward families with young children.
The 79th Annual Firefighters BBQ is scheduled for April 18, also at Town Square Park and the amphitheater. The event, hosted by Murrieta firefighters, is one of the city’s longest-running traditions and serves as a community gathering centered on food and local history.

Spring events conclude May 25 with the Memorial Day Ceremony at Town Square Park and the amphitheater. The annual observance honors U.S. service members who died while serving in the military.
