6th ANNUAL PROJECT PLAYHOUSE PET EDITION FUNDRAISER; OCTOBER 20-29 AT EASTVALE GATEWAY SHOPPING CENTER
Creatively-themed pet houses will be raffled & auctioned to help provide funding for HomeAid Inland Empire's Shelter Development Program.

OCTOBER 18, 2017 (Riverside, CA) --- HomeAid Inland Empire (HAIE) will stage its 6th Annual Project Playhouse Pet Edition fundraising event October 20-29 at the Eastvale Gateway Shopping Center. There will also be a red carpet pet walk and costume contest event on October 29, with prizes awarded to the top three entries as part of the festivities.
Creatively-themed pet houses will be raffled and auctioned to help provide funding for HomeAid Inland Empire’s Shelter Development Program that renovates and builds quality, safe housing facilities for temporarily homeless men, women and children throughout San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
The HAIE Project Playhouse Pet Edition Pet House Village will be open the weekends of October 20-22, and October 27-29 in the parking lot in front of PetSmart. Shopping center visitors can view the custom-built pet houses and purchase $5 raffle tickets for an opportunity to win a pet house. Raffle tickets may be purchased online through the HAIE website, homeaidie.org, starting on October 15.
The pet houses created for Project Playhouse Pet Edition have been built and donated by: Lennar Homes Inland/LA Division employees; Fusion Sign & Design; Living Homes; Mon May Framing; and Next Level Door and Millwork;
The Riverside County Chapter of the Southern California Building Industry Association (BIA) is the exclusive host sponsor for this year’s HAIE fall fundraising event.

Since 1990 HAIE, the Riverside-based non-profit organization affiliated with the Baldy View and Riverside County Building Industry Association (BIA) chapters, has renovated or built 40 homeless shelters housing 1,083 beds. The value of these facilities is over $17.7 million with more than $6.8 million in funding and in-kind donations of labor and materials provided by BIA members through HomeAid Inland Empire.
HomeAid Inland Empire is currently working with 18 homeless service provider partners in San Bernardino and Riverside counties including: Olive Crest, Operation SafeHouse, Path of Life Ministries, Mary’s Mercy Center/Veronica’s Home of Mercy, Foothill Family Shelter, U.S. VETS, Corona/Norco Rescue Mission, Project T.O.U.C.H., Family Assistance Program Our House Youth Shelter, Lutheran Social Services (LSS), Valley Restart Shelter, Operation Grace, Global One Development Center, Victor Valley Rescue Mission, ChildHelp, Lighthouse Social Service Center, Youth Hope, and the
Time For Change Foundation.
