7-Day Streak of Gas Price Increases Reported Near Murrieta

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has risen 4.8 cents over the past seven days, analysts say.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose Tuesday for the seventh consecutive day, increasing seven-tenths of a cent to $2.64.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has risen 4.8 cents over the past seven days, including four-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The increases follow a 35-day streak of decreases totaling 30.1 cents, which dropped the average price to its lowest amount since March 11.

The average price is 18.2 cents less than one month ago and 99.7 cents lower than one year ago.
