79th Annual Murrieta Firefighters BBQ This Weekend: What To Know When You Go
Head to Town Square Park this Saturday for the 79th Annual Firefighters' BBQ in Murrieta.

MURRIETA, CA— It is one of Southern California’s most storied traditions, held annually in Murrieta. On Saturday, Murrieta Fire & Rescue is hosting its 79th Annual Firefighters’ BBQ.
The Saturday event will run from noon until 6 p.m. at Town Square Park, located at 11 Town Square in Murrieta.
"What began as a fundraiser for the city's first fire truck has evolved into one of the longest-running community festivals in Riverside County, featuring firefighter-prepared smoked tri-tip, professional live entertainment," according to Dawn Morrison, spokesperson for the department.

There is also a high-energy Fire Cadet “Muster” Competition, which Morrison says is not to be missed.
