MURRIETA, CA — The City of Murrieta announced the winners of their annual Halloween Home Decorating Contest this week. The categories of Silliest, Scariest, Most Original, and Best Theme had multiple entries, making it difficult to choose winners for 2023, according to the city.

"Due to overwhelming support and responses from our community, we have decided to extend it to 2 winners in each category," a city spokesperson wrote on social media:
