Accused French Valley Arsonist Caught, Jailed: Fire Department
The man's accused of setting multiple fires in French Valley.

TEMECULA, CA — A Temecula man has been arrested after allegedly setting fire to a Southwest Riverside County property, Riverside County Fire Department officials said Thursday. Nicholas Olsen, 35, was booked into the Indio jail after he was caught on Sunday, records show.
Olsen is accused of setting "multiple fires" on a property in the 37000 block of Benton Road in French Valley, according to Fire Department Spokeswoman April Newman. In the fires, a structure and other property belonging to others burned.
He was arrested on suspicion of arson of a structure or forest land and arson to a structure by use of an accelerant, according to Newman.

Olsen, who was injured in the incident, was arrested the same day of the fires at 7:15 p.m., jail records show. His bail was set at $80,000.
