ALDI's 8 New Inland Empire Stores on Track for March Opening

Ribbon-cutting ceremonies and free giveaways will be held at the company's first eight SoCal locations.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA- German supermarket chain ALDI confirmed Monday that grand opening ceremonies are planned March 24 at the company's first eight Southern California stores, five of which are in Riverside County.

Ribbon-cutting ceremonies and free giveaways will be held at 8:45 a.m. at the new locations.

The Riverside County stores are in:

  • Beaumont; 1638 E. 2nd St.
  • La Quinta; 78601 Highway 111
  • Lake Elsinore; 18294 Collier Ave.
  • Moreno Valley; 12630 Day St.
  • Palm Springs; 5200 E. Ramon Road

Grand opening events are also scheduled at the following nearby San Bernardino County locations:

  • Fontana; 15080 Summit Ave.
  • San Bernardino; 625 E. Hospitality Lane
  • Yucaipa; 34000 Yucaipa Blvd.

The first 100 shoppers in line will receive a "golden ticket" containing ALDI gift certificates. Customers will also get a chance to win a year's supply of produce by entering an on-site sweepstakes.

ALDI plans to open around 45 Southern California stores by the end of the year.
