A retired educator, Robles has spent nearly six years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, or CASA, supporting 14 youth in foster care, including sibling groups and children served through the Pechanga Tribal Court. She has been described as a consistent, trusted presence in their lives, advocating with compassion and excellence, according to a recent news release.

"Her bilingual skills in English and Spanish have helped bridge communication gaps and support family reunification," the release stated.

Robles’ impact includes helping reunite families, securing stable placements with relatives, supporting children’s educational and personal growth, and ensuring proper care for vulnerable youth, including medically fragile infants.

In 2024, she was named CASA of the Year in Riverside County.

Beyond her direct service, Robles continues to uplift foster youth by speaking publicly and supporting efforts to strengthen care systems.

“Mariana Robles embodies the true spirit of volunteerism—selfless, impactful, and deeply committed,” the announcement states. “We are honored to celebrate her and thank her for her extraordinary service to our community.”
