MURRIETA, CA — While you're spring cleaning over the weekend, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Southwest Sheriff's Station asks that you look through your medicine cabinet for expired and unwanted prescriptions.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ralph's Shopping Center, located at 33145 Temecula Parkway.
Here, deputies will be on hand to retrieve those unwanted meds and even needles for proper disposal.
During the National Prescription Take Back Day event, residents are encouraged to come drop off unneeded medication for safe disposal, and no worries. No questions will be asked.
As a bonus, sharps (needles) will also be accepted at this event.
