2-Alarm Fire Reported In Menifee Residential Neighborhood

MENIFEE, CA — Firefighters are battling a two-alarm blaze that tore through the roof of a single-family home in Menifee on Tuesday afternoon, emergency officials reported.

Crews from Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department responded to the 28300 block of Marcalope Lane at 4:53 p.m.

First-arriving units found heavy fire venting through the roof of the single-story structure and immediately requested a second alarm.

Firefighters remain on the scene actively attacking the flames.

As of Tuesday evening, no injuries or displacements have been reported.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
