MURRIETA, CA — The Murrieta weekend will start out hot, but Sunday is expected to bring some relief, offering residents several opportunities to get outside for live music, food and community events.
Here are five events happening around Murrieta this weekend.
Southern California singer-songwriter Jake Hitt will bring his mix of reggae, country, alternative rock and acoustic music to Groove & Grub at Mulligan Family Fun Center. The weekly gathering also includes food trucks, vendors, a beer garden and family entertainment.
Wellness Happy Hour offers a nontraditional take on the after-work gathering, featuring music, movement, mineral body clay and handcrafted nonalcoholic wellness drinks. Access is available to resort guests, members and qualifying day-pass holders.
Murrieta will close its 2026 Concerts in the Park season with Catch A Wave, a Los Angeles-based Beach Boys tribute group that recreates the look and sound of the band's live performances.
The free, family-friendly concert will include food vendors and an 8 Bit Brewing beer garden for guests 21 and older. Visitors may bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic dinners. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are permitted.
Press Rewind will perform classic rock, '90s rock, 2000s rock and so-called "dad rock" favorites Saturday night at The Cove Bar & Grill.
The Murrieta Certified Farmers Market returns Sunday morning with California-grown produce, plants, flowers, eggs, honey, prepared foods and handcrafted products from local vendors.
Schedules may change. Guests should confirm event information with organizers before attending, particularly during periods of excessive heat.
