MURRIETA, CA — The City of Murrieta has issued a "No Parking" notice for Auto Mall Parkway and nearby streets as construction crews complete the last step on a slurry seal project.
No parking will be available to motorists along Auto Mall Parkway, Date Street, and Hobie Circle as new slurry will be striped on Thursday, Sept. 3 and Friday, Sept. 4, the city announced on Monday.
The city warned that cars in violation of the notice will be towed at the owners' expense.
The city said "No Parking" signs will be posted 72 hours before the notice goes into effect.
Traffic control will also be conducted during the road work. Motorists were advised to obey all traffic control measures and drive safely through the construction zone.
