• Author of Miss April's Dance Books will speak at Friends of the Murrieta Library meeting (pressenterprise.com) — Murrieta residents are invited to hear local dance instructor and children's author April Vidal, known as Miss April, speak at the Friends of the Murrieta Library meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. at the Murrieta Public Library. She'll share how her long-running Murrieta Parks and Recreation dance program inspired her confidence-building children's books, and attendees can also learn more about the Friends' bookstores and volunteer opportunities.
   

• Local Event: Nature Education Foundation Invites Educators to 'FOR THE BIRDS!' Nature Education Resource Forum (patch.com) — Educators in and around Murrieta can spend Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve for the Nature Education Foundation's bird-focused resource forum. The daylong event offers workshops, field experiences, and a keynote on Big Bear's famous bald eagles, giving teachers practical tools and inspiration to bring local wildlife and conservation lessons back to their students.
