The suspect traveled to the victim's home and sexually assaulted the victim, authorities said.

The sheriff's Southwest Station Investigation Bureau was contacted after the alleged assault and took over the investigation.

Investigators used law enforcement databases and obtained multiple search warrants, which helped identify the suspect as Alejandro Rojas.

On Sept. 17, an investigator posed as a minor during an online undercover operation. Rojas traveled to Riverside to meet with the person he believed was a minor for sexual exploitation, authorities said.

Rojas was arrested at the location without incident, and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for numerous sexual assault related charges, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

According to court records, Rojas was arrested at Fairmount Park in Riverside. He is scheduled to appear in court at Riverside Hall of Justice on Tuesday.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing, and they believe there may be additional victims.

Anyone with information related to the investigation was asked to call the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Southwest Station at 951-696-3000.
