3. Fatal Collision Involving FedEx Truck and Motorcycle (myvalleynews.com) — A deadly collision between a FedEx truck and a motorcycle occurred Wednesday afternoon near Bella Vista Road and Glen Oaks Road, in the Murrieta-area road network. CHP and the Riverside County Sheriff's Office responded, with no major road closures immediately reported. Authorities are still investigating the cause and have not yet released the victim's identity.

The society, based at Temecula's public library, is honoring longtime president Barbara Perez as she prepares to step down and invites residents to explore genealogy help sessions and an October showcase event.
