On Saturday, Oct. 17, the city will hold its annual Fall Festival from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mt. San Jacinto College Menifee Campus, located at 28237 La Piedra Road. The event will include costume contests, live music, community performances, food and craft vendors, and a trunk-or-treat hosted by the Sun City Cruizers.

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, attendees who donate cleaning supplies or full-sized toiletry items to the local nonprofit Alternatives to Domestic Violence will receive a free wristband for the event's Kid-Zone. Cash and Venmo donations will also be accepted at the booth.

The college campus will also host Menifee's Día de los Muertos celebration on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The cultural event features traditional music and dance, a Catrina contest, community altars, artisan vendors, food, a car display by the Familia Gonzales Car Club, and children's activities. Community members interested in displaying an altar or decorating a tapete can contact culturalarts@menifee.ca.gov.

The seasonal events conclude Saturday, Nov. 21, with the Trot for a Cause 5K and Fun Run from 9 a.m. to noon at Central Park, 38268 Civic Plaza Drive. The course features inflatables, color zones, and obstacles, followed by a fun zone and health vendor fair. Registration is $15 for Menifee residents plus four canned food items, which will be donated to the Menifee Community Cupboard.

For more details or to register for events, residents can contact the Menifee Community Services Department at 951-723-3880 or visit menifee.ca.gov/specialevents.
