MURRIETA, CA — Maintenance crews will close several ramps and lanes on southbound 215 Freeway in Murrieta on Tuesday, Nov. 3, to repair a ramp meter, Caltrans said.
The circle on-ramp at Murrieta Hot Springs Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as the Lake Elsinore maintenance crew, working with the South Electrical crew, conducts repairs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to ensure the safety of workers and motorists, Caltrans announced on Wednesday.
The southbound 215 Freeway connector to the 15 Freeway will also be affected. The number 1 lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a closure of the southbound 215 Freeway/15 Freeway connector from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Caltrans said
Motorists traveling through the area should plan for possible delays and consider allowing extra time to reach their destinations.
Drivers were encouraged to use caution near the work zone, follow posted detour signs and watch for maintenance crews and equipment.
