MURRIETA, CA — A toy drive for Murrieta families in need is underway this week, the City of Murrieta and Murrieta Valley Unified School District announced. They teamed up this holiday season for a "Stuff the Bus" toy drive and invite the community to help bring holiday cheer to local children.

This is a big push for the next two weeks, with all donations requested by Wednesday, Nov. 4. That way, the community can help "fill the bus with gifts" that will bring joy to Murrieta children this Christmas.

"The Stuff the Bus program reflects the community's commitment to helping neighbors in need and demonstrates the impact of partnerships between local government, schools, businesses, and nonprofit organizations," said city spokesperson Hildur Sam.

The City of Murrieta and MVUSD extend their appreciation to the Salvation Army, Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac, Riverside County Third District Supervisor Chuck Washington, and all
participating organizations for their support of this holiday initiative.
