MURRIETA, CA — Murrieta Valley High School is gearing up for the boys basketball season with its second annual "Nighthawk Madness," a community celebration featuring basketball, games, food and raffles on Saturday, Nov. 14. Hosted by the MVHS Nighthawk Hoops Booster Club, the event gives families, students and community members an opportunity to meet the players and coaches while supporting the school's basketball program.
Head coach RJ Shelton returns for his second season leading the Nighthawks, alongside his coaching staff. The event will highlight the players' preparations for the upcoming season, including practices, conditioning and weekend tournaments.
Attendees can expect on-court activities, games, food and raffle drawings featuring gift baskets donated by local businesses. Proceeds from the raffles will benefit all three boys basketball teams.
