Animal Planet Doctor To Run In Local 5K

Dr. Sean Bush of Animal Planet’s “Venom ER” will take part in Loma Linda University Medical Center's 5K run in Murrieta next month.

Registration for the event begins at 7 a.m. March 6, with the race starting at 8:30 a.m., according to Emili Steele, an event organizer.

Participants will also include children’s author Kathleen Hurwitz. 

Free health screenings and family friendly activities will be held from 7 a.m. to noon, according to Steele.

Proceeds from the race and walk will be used to provide training and equipment for emergency healthcare providers at the hospital, she said.
