Another Earthquake Rattles Riverside County
The earthquake is the second to strike Riverside County in as many days.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A magnitude 3.0 earthquake with an epicenter about 1 mile from the unincorporated community of Valle Vista, just east of Hemet, struck Wednesday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The earthquake was reported at 8:26 p.m. with a depth of about 1.8 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The earthquake was felt in Murrieta, Temecula, Perris, Idyllwild, Wildomar, and the Pass Area, the USGS reported.
The earthquake was determined as being a level four quake, which the USGS defines as having moderate shaking with very light damage.

The earthquake is the second to strike Riverside County in as many days. A magnitude 3.5 earthquake was reported at 11:39 p.m. Monday, four miles from Palm Springs, according to the USGS.
