Autism-Friendly Alice in Wonderland

Academy of Ballet Arts is proud to announce our first Autism-Friendly performance. This will be a special evening where children and adults on the autism spectrum and their families, as well as other families with special needs that may appreciate the welcoming and supportive environment, can come enjoy our production of Alice in Wonderland. Slight adjustments will be made to the production including fewer loud noises and bright flashing lights. Audience members will also be allowed to get up out of their seats as needed, move around, and cheer or make noise whenever they see fit.

We will also offer a “Quiet Area” in the lobby where audience members can go if they need a break. Volunteer specialists will be available to assist families as needed.
