Average Gas Prices Near Murrieta Continue to Drop

Just in time for Thanksgiving travel, prices are at a record low.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped to its lowest amount since Feb. 12 Monday, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $2.749.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has decreased 12 consecutive days, dropping 11.7 cents, including 1 cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 7.7 cents less than one week ago, 13.8 cents lower than one month ago and 33.5 cents below what it was one year ago.
