Back-To-School: Murrieta Valley Unified School District 2022-23
It's still summer vacation, but families can prepare with this year's academic calendar. Here are some important dates for public schools.
MURRIETA, CA — There's a little bit of summer vacation left, but families may want to look ahead at the upcoming academic calendar. There will be 180 student days this year, with changes to school start times and modified day times, so parents take note!
Here are some important dates for Murrieta Valley Unified School District families to note during 2022 to 2023 academic year.

First Day Of School: All grades start class on Aug. 10.
Thanksgiving Break: The last day of class before the break is Friday, Nov. 18. Thanksgiving break begins Monday, November 21. Students won't return until Monday, Nov. 28.

Winter Break: The final day of school ahead of winter break is Friday, Dec. 16, which will be a modified school day. Schools are closed from Monday, Dec. 19 through Monday, Jan. 9, 2023. Classes resume Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023.
Spring Break: The last day of school before spring break is Friday, March 31, 2023. The break starts Monday, April 3 and goes through Friday, April 7. Students return to classes Monday, April 10, 2023.
Last Day For Students: All students are scheduled to wrap up on June 2, 2023.
