Beware of Energy Vampires!

Have you ever walked into a room and automatically felt on edge? Have you spent time with a specific person that left you feeling drained?

It is probably because you are picking up on the subtle energies flowing around you. We protect our skin with sunscreen, our cars and homes with insurance and yet we leave our energetic bodies unprotected. Protecting our personal space can make the difference between having a happy successful day and having one of those days where nothing goes right. This visualization exercise helps to separate your energy from the surrounding environment and from the energies of others.

  •  Get settled in a comfortable space
  • Relax and take three deep long breaths
  • Feel yourself relaxing deeper as you breathe
  • Imagine yourself standing in an open field.
  • If you have time, notice your peaceful surroundings and stay a while
  • Visualize that a large clear bubble is surrounding you
  • Imagine the bubble is a force field made of pure light and warmth
  • Notice that the outside surface looks like a mirror and reflects everything that comes toward it
  • Notice how safe you feel and that nothing can penetrate through
  • If you feel inclined, place a favorite item outside of the bubble in the front, back and both sides.
  • Ex: I like to use roses as they have a very high vibrational field. When I need extra protection, I use black roses. If I need calming, use yellow and so forth.
  • You can even combine this exercise with the cleansing exercise and cleanse yourself and the space inside your protective bubble.

Try this exercises for a week. Cleanse and protect twice a day at minimum. If you forget or miss days, try incorporating them into your routine.Review the week once it is over and notice any changes or differences in how you are affected by others and outside influences.
