Body Found In Menifee Park ID'd As Local Man
Children walking through a Menifee park discovered the body of a 48-year-old man, according to reports from the scene.
MENIFEE, CA — The identity of a man's body found Wednesday morning at a Menifee park was released, according to the Menifee Police Department.
At 8 a.m., the body of Brian Aguirre, 48, of Menifee, was found in the middle of Wheatfield Park, near the intersection of La Piedra and Menifee roads, according to police spokesperson Chase Coburn.
"Based on the preliminary investigation, there are no indications of foul play," Coburn said. There were no threats to the public, and the cause of death was not revealed in the ongoing investigation.

A group of children reported the grim discovery to officials, he said.
Volunteers from the city's Trauma Intervention Program were summoned to speak with the youths and provide "emotional support," according to Coburn.
