High School Mountain Bike Racing Report
The Murrieta Valley High School mountain bike racing team fared well in the first SoCal High School Cycling League of the season.
Dozens of high school athletes raced mountain bikes this last Sunday at the Vail Lake Challenge. The races were Part One of a five-race season for the SoCal High School Cycling League.
Each lap was raced over a rollercoaster-style singletrack with fast, fire road climbs. Riders completed multiple laps (approx 5.5 miles per lap).
Murrieta Valley High School was the only local team competing. Here are Division 1 team results:
