Lighthouse to Host Night of Rock, Food and Fellowship

The Youth Ministry—appropriately named “Relentless”—at the Lighthouse
Christian Center in Murrieta, is sponsoring a night of rock music, food and
fellowship at 7 p.m. Friday March 9.

Relentless has arranged for the Christian Rock band Lust Kills Love to perform.  Lust Kills Love was formed in January 2010, emerging out of the San Gorgonio Pass area. Lead Vocalist Aaron Jimenez and Drummer Steve Wiseman came together to form the band through their love for music and love for Christ. Bass player Zach Taylor, sharing the same passion, joined soon after.

Through their inspirational lyrics and captivating melodies, LKL moves forward
to enthuse a generation for the love of Christ. They currently have 12 songs
that they wrote themselves. They are looking forward to rock and worship with

Kris Bowers, Lighthouse Youth Pastor, and Bruce Pennington, pastor of Lighthouse Christian Center are excited for the opportunity "to reach the youth of our
community with the message of Jesus Christ." They see the enthusiasm that
the Relentless youth have and enjoy helping them find their place in God’s
kingdom.

Our world today is complex, stressful and full of pathways and pitfalls that can lead to unhappy and unhealthy lives. We need to equip our youth—as well as ourselves—with the tools and skills to help them navigate the obstacle course called life and help them find peace; the kind of peace that comes in our body, mind and spirit are in complete agreement. Kris wants to “ show people that there is hope when they feel hopeless, there is someone that loves them when they feel that nobody does, that there is more to life than what they think and that there is a God that knows them by name and that He loves them and He has a plan for them.”

If you or your children would like to attend, the Lighthouse Christian Center is located off of Winchester road at 38435 Innovation Court in Murrieta. There is no
