MVHS Girls Basketball vs. Indio - CIF-SS Division 2A 2nd Round Results

The Lady Nighthawks enjoyed a fine win at home Wednesday night, 55-41, over the visiting Rajahs of Indio High School.

MV's Karen Wolf led all scorers with 21 points including nine field goals and three-for-three at the free throw line.

The Lady Nighthawks will now travel to Santa Maria on Saturday to face the Righetti High School Warriors in a quarterfinal matchup.  Game time is 7 p.m.

Noteworthy:  The two schools boys' teams will also play one another in their own Division 2A quarterfinal game, Friday at 7 p.m. at Murrieta Valley.

Also, the Vista Murrieta boys host Capistrano Valley, 7 p.m. Friday, in a Division 1A quarterfinal game.
