Southern California Author Reviews Her Books with the Friends of the Murrieta Library
May is a good time to pick up your summer reading, so join the Friends of the Murrieta Library on May 19th at 1:00pm as Theresa Halvorsen reviews her books of multiple genres. She describes herself as an overly-caffeinated podcaster, editor, and author of non-fiction and speculative fiction works, including Warehouse Dreams, Lost Aboard, and River City Widows. She lives in San Diego, is a podcaster for Semi-Sages of the Pages and a co-owner and chief editor of No Bad Books Press.
Ms Halvorsen admits she just can’t pick a favorite genre. She loves everything about being an author. One of her latest editions is of the supernatural with two books already in this series. A prolific author, she claims she doesn’t sleep and just loves to write.
Come meet this interesting author, visit with friends and neighbors and enjoy the lovely refreshments provided. The public and guests are invited to this free event.
Not only do the Friends of the Murrieta Library provide support to the Murrieta Public Library through fund-raising, advocacy and volunteerism, they promote awareness of and support for the Library as it serves the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs of our Community. Their monthly meetings serve as a low-key cultural event for our local residents, providing the opportunity to meet, first hand, with established and published authors.
The Friends operate two highly-rated used book stores in Murrieta, The Corner Bookstore, 39445 Los Alamos, STE B and the Town Square Bookstore at the library. The Library is located at 8 Town Square, on Adams between Juniper and Kalmia. For further information, visit our website at www.murrietalibraryfriends.org
