Car Plows Into Windjammer Drive, Kitching Street Home: RivCo
Two people were hurt after a car plowed through a home in Moreno Valley early Friday.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — Two people were hospitalized after a car slammed into a Moreno Valley home early Friday, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported. Preliminary reports say that the driver lost control and that DUI was not considered a factor in the crash.
Shortly before 1 a.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff's Station arrived at the scene on the 14300 block of Windjammer Drive, where the car crashed into the home, injuring the driver and a resident.
CalFire and America Medical Response personnel provided medical treatment, then took both victims to a local hospital, deputies said.

The Moreno Valley Sheriff's Station Traffic Team was investigating the crash and learned the driver was heading southbound on Kitching Street when they lost control and collided with a residence on Windjammer Drive.
"At this time, neither intoxication nor reckless driving appears to be a factor in this collision," Sgt. Adel Botros said. "The identities of the involved parties will not be released pending further investigation."
