City of Murrieta Announces New Administrative Services Director

The City of Murrieta is proud to welcome Stacey Stevenson as the City's new Administrative Services Director.

From the City of Murrieta: The City of Murrieta is proud to welcome Stacey Stevenson as the City's new Administrative Services Director. Stevenson will be responsible for the oversight of the Administrative Services Department, which incorporates the Finance, Human Resources and Information Services divisions.
Stevenson joins the City of Murrieta after extensive experience in various positions with the City of San Diego and the City of National City. Stevenson's career in public service began with the City of San Diego as a Program Manager, where she operated as the City Manager's Liaison to the City Council. While serving in the Engineering and Contracts Processing Departments as a Deputy Director, she worked closely with contractors, developers and professional services consultants on complex issues.

In her role as Human Resources Director for the City of National City, Stevenson was responsible for labor, recruitments, organizational development, benefits, risk management and a classification and compensation plan. As Director of Administrative Services, she worked closely with the Finance Department to close the City's budgetary gap. Lastly, during her time as Deputy City Manager, Stevenson managed the Community Services, Finance, Human Resources, Management Information Systems and Special Projects Departments. Throughout these positions Stacey gained experience providing leadership in finance, information technology and labor relations, while serving as a member of the City's executive leadership team. "We couldn't be more honored to have her join the City's Executive team," said City Manager Kim Summers.

Stevenson has a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from National University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Diego State University.
