City Of Murrieta Hosting Wildfire Prevention And Preparedness Event On Sept. 14

MURRIETA, CA — City officials have invited the community to attend a wildfire prevention and preparedness event in Murrieta as wildfire season ramps up.
The event, which is being co-hosted by Assemblywoman Kate Sanchez, will be held at Murrieta Fire Station No. 4 on Sept. 14 from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Attendees will be able to participate in a conversation about wildfire safety, as well as learn about protecting their homes, evacuation procedures, insurance updates, and public safety power shutoffs.
The event will be emceed by Mayor Jon Levell.
Representatives from Murrieta Fire & Rescue, the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety, and Southern California Edison will also be in attendance.
