Last Piece Of Clinton Keith Road Extension Progressing On Schedule
The final piece of the extension from Interstate 215 to state Route 79 is expected to open late next summer.

FRENCH VALLEY, CA — The Clinton Keith Road extension from Leon Road to Winchester Road/Benton Road east of Murrieta is progressing on schedule, according to the latest update from the Riverside County Transportation Commission.
Construction of a new bridge over French Valley Creek is underway, and there are other ongoing improvements, the agency reported. RCTC officials still estimate the extension will open late next summer with six lanes on Clinton Keith Road between Interstate 215 and state Route 79.
The new Clinton Keith Road segment, or phase 3, is the last piece of the project that was initiated in the mid-1990s to address east-west traffic in Southwest Riverside County.
