Closure Scheduled For I-15 In Corona Next Week
The closure will be in effect from 8 p.m. next Monday to 4 a.m. Tuesday.

CORONA, CA -- Commuters will face a partial closure of Interstate 15 in Corona next week while crews complete roadwork that is part of a $45 million interchange improvement project.
The closure will be in effect from 8 p.m. Monday to 4 a.m. Tuesday on the two-mile southbound stretch between Weirick and El Cerrito roads.
It will alternate between the freeway's three lanes as needed, squeezing traffic into the two remaining lanes, Caltrans said.

The Cajalco Road on- and off-ramps also will shut down during that time.
The roadwork will result in a new northbound Cajalco Road off-ramp, part of a larger project to expand the Cajalco Road bridge over Interstate 15 to six lanes, Caltrans said.
